Aero-Link Consulting was launched in 2001 and has become one of the more successful Cargo GSSA and Handling Agent who is known for our flexibility, efficiency and willingness to assist. 
 

We are recognized as a Black Economic Empowerment company which is fully operational thereby making us a preferred supplier to the airline industry.  

Aero-Link Consulting was created by Mr. J. Anandkumar who resigned from DHL Aviation Pty Ltd where he occupied a position as Regional Manager - Southern Africa.

Cargo General Sales and Service Agent

Aero-Link Consulting offers a full range of Cargo GHA activities / services:

   Representative and ramp handling agent to maximize utilization of available capacity.
- Cargo Preparation for the flight according to the Cargo Sales Representatives Requirements / Instructions
- ULD Stock Control
- Monitoring the loading of the aircraft by the appointed Ramp Handling Agent
- Dispatching of the required C-Imp messaging and pre-alert’s for sensitive and special cargo 

Being strategically positioned at the Foreign Airlines Cargo Terminal of O R Tambo International Airport allows us to provide a cargo handling function along with all the associated responsibilities ie. Cargo Acceptance, Cargo Checks (weight, DGR etc.), Import, Export, Cold, DGR storage area, recovery of Charges Collect and releasing of inbound cargo. We are able to monitor the movement of cargo from acceptance, through the logistics chain to the loading onto the aircraft or delivery to the consignee.  

On average we move 1,000 - 1,300 Tons per month through Warehouse 34. The offices and warehouse space consists of 290m2 Office space, warehouse floor space of 1,600m2 with full racking storage capability, cooling facilities of 100m2 and weighing facilities (1 x 20,000Kg and 2 x 2,500Kg Scales) in place. Our current forklift fleet consists of 1 x 8Ton Forklift, 3 x 3.5Ton Forklifts and 2 X 2.5Ton Forklifts. We have 24hr outsourced security staff in addition to 32 CCTV Motion sensitive cameras able to record a minimum of 3 months footage. 

In addition to Warehouse 34, we have recently acquired Warehouse 18 from ACSA which is being utilized / benchmarked for our planned growth in the near future. This facility shall have full CCTV coverage, 24hr security, armed response and there shall be an additional 3 x 3.5T Forklifts placed exclusively in this facility.
